Our Story
How did we
get here?
I was a missionary for 4 years in the Peruvian desert when God moved my heart to start considering a music mission. At that time, I had a Salt & Light Worship Band in Peru. Upon arriving in the US, I met my friend Levi who encouraged me to pursue that dream.
After getting married, Shaina and I felt the calling of the Lord to minister in new places. Following prayer and guidance from Him, we initiated a Free Vocal Training Program in Magnolia, Texas, in March 2023.
With the generous support of our community and our friend, Mr. Nathan Ingram, we acquired the necessary instruments to commence our mission in Peru and assigned Genesis Rojas as our Peru Coordinator. Our work is centered in Pachacutec, located in the Peruvian desert, and began on April 15th, 2023.
In August 2023, we launched an online program for another Assemblies of God church in Peru, located deep in the desert in the city of Huacho. We began with a piano program online, and by February 2024, we expanded to include guitar and vocal training. In March 2024, we introduced a music theory class.
Currently, all our programs are operational. Our free vocal training has been relocated from Magnolia to Spring, Texas, under the leadership of Levi Uzodike. We are steadfast in our determination to also help the community of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Our objective is to sustain support for over 50 children currently benefiting from our programs in Peru and to broaden the scope of our music education program to assist more individuals in need, both in the United States and abroad.
